Test Champs was an amazing tool that made understanding tough concepts in Methods ATAR easier. It was a great way for me to ask questions from past exam papers to difficult textbook questions. Getting detailed one on one teaching about the ways I could solve similar problems that would come up frequently in tests and atar exams. Test champs have amazing past test papers which improved my ability in working under timed conditions.

My daughter has been with Scholastic for two years. She really loves the English tutoring sessions, especially the writing part. It has been a nice, low-stress journey compared to other tutoring places. The small class size is a bonus, giving kids opportunities to learn from each other better.

Please note Test Champs is their new business name.For us it was a waste of money and time to enrol our child. My child didn't learn anything significant for GATE and didn't enjoy the coaching either. The teachers do not provide any feedback on the marked work, its either right (tick) or wrong (cross) on the weekly assessment sheets.They assessed my child initially and offered a customised program, however, their final assessment included questions which were not covered in the coaching classes and the child was not taught enough of the material to attempt those.I am leaving an honest review as the current Google reviews are overexaggerated and were misleading for us.
I could not recommend Scholastic Excellence high enough. My son really enjoyed going, he said the teachers were amazing. The course gave him a boost in preparation and confidence, and helped him excel in the Gate test. Thanks Serena and team!
I personally found Scholastic Excellence to be a great tutoring centre. The tutors there are all very professional, and the content is very thorough and explains syllabus content in detail.

I took my twin boys to Scholastic Excellence throughout 2021. This was a very important step in their preparation for GATE test this year. Kids really enjoyed the experience and always told me how much they liked the teachers in English and Math. I could see that the admin staff also looked after the kids very well. Without Scholastic Excellence, the twin boys wouldn't have achieved what they achieved this year, namely both accepted by Rossmoyne SHS GATE program. I would strongly encourage parents to take their kids to Scholastic Excellence, with or without having GATE in mind.
Scholastic helped me improve my math skills, both abstract and quantitative reasoning. I was also able to learn a lot from the kind teachers who taught me in my English classes. Excellence teaching just like their name! Their subject matter knowledge and professionalism has been demonstrated weekly. Our child enjoys the sessions and looks forward to the weekly sessions.
Atrociously lazy marking. They can’t even follow their own marking key for multiple choice tests. Just found 8 marking errors in a single 35 question test. And still have half the test to review. Don’t waste my time and money on this sham!
My son gained pretty good score in GATE this year and received an offer from PMS. My son attended Scholastic Excellence school holiday program and before GATE exam seminar. He said it was really helpful. Also Schoolastic Excellence has catch up action to help student's dealing well with the interviews.

definitely recommend!My son attended the GATE classes before test. He feels good. There were a lot of questions of GATE style. The classes are in small groups with less than 10 students. The mock test is good and helps a lot with my son.
I’m extremely thankful to Mr Yap and Scholastic Excellence for providing the best tutoring service. The detailed notes combined with the quizzes before each test and all the practice questions from different exams have certainly helped me so much throughout my last two years of high school. Mr Yap is an excellent tutor who is very experienced in areas of maths, chemistry and physics. He has helped me incredibly throughout year 11 and year 12 and has done so much to ensure that I do well in all of my subjects. Scholastic Excellence has been an extremely beneficial tutoring and education provider for my child. The program is tailored to both ends of the spectrum, those students requiring catch up as well as those requiring extension to continue to extend and challenge those gifted and talented children. We have enrolled in holiday intensive programs as well as term programs and the results have been significant in achieving results. The program provides recognition and reward for students thereby providing further motivation for them to ensure their success. To Serena and her team, thank you very much. Her dedication, support and reassurance has been crucial in ensuring my childrens success and also in keeping my sanity😊. My children owe a lot to scholastic excellence. All three if them were blessed to get into PEAC and GATE schools and did extremely well in all their NAPLAN exams. From all the extra work given by scholastis, my children have also performed very well in the Australian Maths Competition, getting distinctions and high distinctions.
