I took my twin boys to Scholastic Excellence throughout 2021. This was a very important step in their preparation for GATE test this year. Kids really enjoyed the experience and always told me how much they liked the teachers in English and Math. I could see that the admin staff also looked after the kids very well. Without Scholastic Excellence, the twin boys wouldn't have achieved what they achieved this year, namely both accepted by Rossmoyne SHS GATE program. I would strongly encourage parents to take their kids to Scholastic Excellence, with or without having GATE in mind.

If it weren't for the Scholastic Excellence tutoring service there would've been no way that I'd receive the results that I've hoped for. The lecture notes are not only straight-forward and comprehensible but also reflect the syllabus dot points and past exam questions. In addition, Mr Yap always went above and beyond providing extra challenging questions (that you cannot find in your study guides) and has taught us various methods on how to tackle one problem. Furthermore, no matter how little you know or even if you don't understand a simple concept, he would take his time to make sure you understand the concept fully. Thus, it is his respect and patience for students that differentiates him from other teachers. I can guarantee you that this tutoring service will help any student who wishes to excel in their chosen subjects.

(another bonus is that Mr Yap is super friendly and hilarious, so it's really easy to approach him with any questions that you have 🙂 )

Scholastic Excellence has been an extremely beneficial tutoring and education provider for my child. The program is tailored to both ends of the spectrum, those students requiring catch up as well as those requiring extension to continue to extend and challenge those gifted and talented children. We have enrolled in holiday intensive programs as well as term programs and the results have been significant in achieving results. The program provides recognition and reward for students thereby providing further motivation for them to ensure their success. My children owe a lot to scholastic excellence. All three if them were blessed to get into PEAC and GATE schools and did extremely well in all their NAPLAN exams.
From all the extra work given by scholastis, my children have also performed very well in the Australian Maths Competition, getting distinctions and high distinctions.
Currently my oldest has graduated from Perth Modern and my younger two are in Rossmoyne Senior High School.
